Finally finished @_@.

commission for

Hah, I really like this whole piece in general, and I enjoyed coming up with a few nifty little concepts because Carthaki gave me sucha broad area to build this picture in. Some of the concepts such as the extremely long fur coming off of the wolfess's arm and the jewels wedged inside the trees. For some reason I thought it'd be flipping sweet having this really black darkish trees and have jewels growing inside. I don't know-- might've come from Diablo online-- you find such nice rocks in such funny places!

Oh boy! An abomidable rock monster -kill-.. WOO HOO FLAWLESS DIAMOND.

It was seriously hard getting the black guy to show up... eh.. so I added a bit of noise-- made him show up a little more.

Very beautiful. I love the way this looks, and I don't really know how to say it other than seemingly grainy yet detailed... I don't want that to sound bad because it looks great.

I saw this load slowly and was like: "Awwww wow! :love: So peaceful!" Then it loaded some more and I saw the scary face behind the delicate white wolf! :-o And I was like: "ACK!" lol

Awesome work! This is 100% digital? Wow! :heart: Looks like mixed media; pencils, maybe water color, and some digital! Brillant job! :hug:

God. That is breathtaking. Truly beautiful work Stephie. The fur and hair are very nearly tangible. The anatomy is perfectly formed. I love every little piece of this. I can't even continue - it's fantastic.

I do wonder, though - Do they have opposable thumbs? If not, would you consider them to be particularly flexible quads or manually simplified bipeds?

But I'm mincing details - The Petals Fall is amazing work.

I actually believe one does and one doesn't, For smoe reason I think I thought the white one looked extraordinarly better with regular paws oppsed to hands.
