The king told the prince he was to take over the throne when he died, however, the prince was not at all fond of this.
Him? Be king. It was impossible. The job itself was much too much for anyone man to handle. And so, in a childish flee of responsibility, the young prince ordered. "Is when you die, all you give me is your throne? What father would only give their young boy a chair. I wish not for your chair." And the kind replied. "It is not just this chair you'll be receiving my son, but the responsibility and power that comes with it." The young prince shook is head. "I'll naught be taking such a petty excuse for a passing gift. You must offer me something better." And so the king ordered one of his peasants to take his young boy out to show him what came with the chair. Not only the responsibility, but also the village which he had never seen, the livestock he did not know of, the peace and tranquility that passed no further than the castle doors, and the forest that lay beyond it. It was quite the offering. ---------- Commission for Thank you so much for letting me express myself. Daddy says 'i love you' with his belt.
This is stunning, it has such a mystical, peaceful beauty to it. I love the story behind it to. The character stand out really well against the background, and I really like their outfits/accesories. I like that cute little owl up there too
